This comes out of an ordinary household duct.
Why this exists
It started with a neighbour’s dryer catching fire.
That was 1986. Steve started LINT EXTRACTORS the same year and has spent every year since on the same narrow problem: the few feet of duct behind your dryer that nobody looks at until it becomes a fire.
Lint is unavoidable — every load sheds it, and what the trap doesn’t catch goes into the duct and stays there. Packed down, warm and bone dry, it is close to perfect kindling sitting inside your wall.

Ducts rust, pull apart at the joints, and take on water. When cleaning isn’t the answer, the run gets repaired or replaced properly.

The cap on the outside wall is where clogs start. A louvered cap keeps air and lint moving instead of trapping them.

Laundromats, dry cleaners and hotels run their dryers all day. Steve services them on the same terms as a house — flat fee, owner on site.

Steve only does clothes dryer venting. He says so on his own site, so it is worth repeating here — you will not be sold anything else.

Duct cleaning is charged as a flat fee — you know the number before the work starts, and it doesn’t move once he’s under the machine.
