Dryer Duct & Vent Cleaning
Steve pulls the appliance out to get clear access to the duct — no guessing, no cleaning six inches and calling it done. Then a series of brushes and flexible rods works down the full run to loosen the lint and debris, and all of it gets vacuumed away rather than pushed further in.
The difference shows up on the next load. A duct that isn’t choked lets the dryer exhaust properly, so clothes finish in one cycle instead of two, the machine stops running hot, and the fire risk that comes with packed lint goes away.

Duct Repair & Replacement
Ducting doesn’t last forever. It rusts, it gets knocked loose, joints separate behind the machine where nobody looks, and low runs collect water. Any of those and you have a duct that leaks lint into the wall cavity instead of carrying it outside.
Steve does the ductwork himself rather than hiring it out, so the person who found the problem is the person who fixes it — and the repair matches what the run actually needs instead of whatever a subcontractor had on the truck.
Lint Cleaning
Every load sheds lint, and what the trap doesn’t catch goes into the duct and stays there. Left alone it packs down into exactly the kind of dense, dry, warm material that starts fires.
Clearing it out does more than remove the hazard: the appliance stops fighting a clogged run, so it uses less energy, and the air quality inside the building improves because the exhaust is actually leaving the building.
Hood Cap Installation
Steve replaces the hood cap outside the house with a louvered cap that works like a plantation shutter — it lets air and lint flow out freely instead of catching them at the last few inches of the run, which is where blockages usually begin.
Hood caps matter anywhere a system vents: dryers, bathrooms, kitchens, furnaces. In commercial kitchens especially, venting grease and smoke properly keeps the equipment cleaner, the rooms more comfortable, and the odors out.
Laundromats & Commercial
Commercial dryers do in a month what a household machine does in a year, and operators know what a clogged run costs them: longer cycles, higher power bills, machines down, and a fire risk sitting behind the wall.

What he doesn’t do
Steve limits himself to clothes dryer venting — repair, cleaning and replacement. That is the whole list. If you need one of these, he is not the person, and he will tell you so rather than take the job.
